PGT Trucking Introduces “Excellence In Safety Program”
Aliquippa, PA… PGT Trucking, a premier flatbed
carrier located in Western Pennsylvania, recently introduced a new awards
program for office employees called “Excellence In Safety Program”. The quarterly award recognizes office
personnel nominated by peers that demonstrate extraordinary excellence in
safety. The award is rotated each
quarter among PGT employees and helps engage the office staff with safety.
The first award recipient is Compliance Supervisor
Natalie Young. Natalie is an eight-year
employee at PGT Trucking. Natalie is
also PGT’s designated employee representative for the company’s drug and
alcohol program. Natalie was nominated by Kayla Steffen, who had this to say
about Natalie in her nomination: “Natalie excels at her various training while
still tending to her regular duties. She
also ensures that others are trained as well.
She makes sure that the rules are followed by herself and the rest of
the PGT staff to be responsible for their drivers and the motoring public’s
safety. Every day her dedication and
hard work helps create a safer environment for everyone.”
Congratulations to Natalie Young! Pat Gallagher,
Owner of PGT Trucking and Rhonda Yost a trophy to Natalie to be displayed at
her desk for the last quarter of 2018 along with a bonus check, a home safety
kit, a certificate and a shirt.
