​Patrick Smrek Receives Promotion At Tri-State Trailer Sales, Inc.

HUBBARD, OH… Patrick Smrek, Sales Manager for Tri-State Trailer Sales, Inc.’s Hubbard, Ohio branch was recently promoted to Director of Used Trailers for the company. Pat’s new responsibilities will be to focus on developing relationships with fleets throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. His new position will require traveling throughout Tri-State ‘s sales and service areas, purchasing used trailers of all types from area fleets for resale in Tri-State Trailer’s extensive used trailer inventory. Additionally, Pat will attend equipment auctions to acquire used trailers as well as making sales calls with Tri-State Trailer’s sales professionals.

Pat states, “I like working for a family owned company that is recognized as one of the premier trailer dealers in the industry. I appreciate the tutelage that both Frank and Joe Mancino provided me with when I joined the company and the trucking industry.”

Kenny McCracken, former Leasing Coordinator at Tri-State Trailer’s Pittsburgh branch has taken over Pat’s sales territory, which consists of Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania.

Pat is a 1991 graduate of Clarion University with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Finance. Before joining Tri-State Trailer Sales in 2001, he worked for Granger Industrial Supply. Pat became Sales Manager at Tri-State Trailers Sales, Inc. in 2007. He resides in Austintown, Ohio with his wife Kim and children Logan, Grace and Donovan.
