Epes Transport System Invests Nearly $3 Million In New Company Driver Pay Package

Greensboro, NC… Epes Transport System, Inc. of Greensboro, N.C., recently announced its largest pay increase in the company’s 85+ year history. Nearly $3 million is being invested into compensation for company drivers effective June 3, 2018.

“We appreciate the support our tremendous customer base has provided through rate increases and business opportunities,” says Richard E. Kuehn, president of Epes Transport System. “With this support, we are following through with our commitment to increase our driver pay and are proud to announce the largest single driver pay increase in the history of Epes Transport System.”

For company drivers, Epes has raised its per-mile pay an additional 2¢, which will boost earnings dramatically. Plus, there is now an extra 2¢-per-mile performance bonus which allows drivers the opportunity to double their pay increase to 4¢ per mile by meeting a monthly mileage and delivery goal.

This outstanding pay boost is in addition to other advantages offered by Epes such as weekly home time, guaranteed miles and pay, full benefits, paid vacations/holidays, 401(k), late-model tractors and much more.

For Independent Contractors, Epes now offers percentage-based pay so their pay increases when rates increase and reflect the value of freight hauled.
