16, 17, 18 ~ Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds, Chippewa Falls
The 10th Annual Eau Claire
Big Rig Truck Show will be returning to the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds
(225 Edward St. Chippewa Falls, WI 54729). The Big Rig Truck Show will again
have FREE admission to the public (parking $5 per car Friday and Saturday, free
parking Sunday). Not only will some of the country’s top show trucks with
customized interiors, unique light displays, beautiful murals, brilliant chrome
work and unique modifications will be showcased, but so will working show trucks
that will be back on the road Monday morning. A large variety of additional vehicles
will also be displayed; antique, non-working, custom creations, fire trucks, tow
trucks, construction vehicles, tractors of all sizes, swat, law enforcement and
military vehicles be will in attendance.
Highlights and attractions
for this coming year's Anniversary Show include the Saturday Night Light Parade
through Chippewa Falls (parade map available online).
A Demolition Derby will be
held Saturday. More information about this new and exciting event can be found
online at ECTruckShow.com in the upcoming weeks.
Many outside and inside
exhibitors will be demonstrating and selling a wide variety of products.
Exhibit Hall A is where guests can find the Allstate Peterbilt Kids Zone, with
free professional face painting and a coloring contest. River States Truck
& trailer will again be hosting free semi rides on Sunday. There will be
food available from many local food trucks and a beer garden for the adults.
Live music all weekend in
the beer garden courtesy of River States Truck & Trailer. Rich Schroeder will
be performing during the day and Austin Fire will be on stage in the evenings. Chainsaw
artist Leesa Syryczuk will be in action throughout the weekend. A
representative from State Patrol will be available to answer any questions
about the rules and regulations of the road. Many more fun family activities
are in the works.
Registered drivers can relax
and enjoy all that the show has to offer. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place People’s
Choice, Kids’ Choice and Truckers’ Choice awards will be presented to
participating drivers along with thousands of dollars in prizes on Sunday.
The Eau Claire Big Rig
Truck Show is a community event that brings together people of all ages, giving
them the opportunity to see the world of trucking. The truck show
works in conjunction with following local non-profit groups: United
Cerebral Palsy of West Central Wisconsin and the Hands Foundation helping
homeless veterans and others in need who will be collecting clothing and
toiletries. A complete list of needed items and donation sites can be found
