Tri-State Trailer Sales, Inc. Celebrates 35 Years of Service

PITTSBURGH, PA…. Frank and Marian Mancino founded Tri-State Trailer Sales, Inc. in June of 1985 when they became a Trailmobile dealer on Route 8 in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania.  It wasn’t long until Tri-State Trailer Sales moved to a more accessible location on Campbells Run Road in Pittsburgh.

In 1994, the Mancinos built an ultra-modern sales, service and parts dealership and moved to 3111 Grand Avenue in Neville Island, Pennsylvania.  The new location had easy access to I-79 for their customers.  

The ensuing years saw incredible growth for Tri-State Trailer Sales, going from a single trailer dealership in Pittsburgh to four full service dealerships through acquisition.  In 1996, Tri-State Trailer Sales acquired a dealership in Lancaster, PA from Trailmobile.  In 1998, another location was purchased in Hubbard, Ohio and in 2000, they purchased a dealership in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Today, Tri-State Trailer Sales, Inc. remains under the ownership and management of the Mancino family and is in the process of expanding their sales offices at the Pittsburgh, PA location.  The company holds a number of trailer franchises from industry leading manufacturers, including: Reitnouer, Transcraft, Manac, CIMC Vanguard, Heil, Landoll, Fontaine, Dorsey, Peerless, XLSpecialized, and Eager Beaver.  Tri-State Trailer Sales is a member of the National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA) and the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA).

All of Tri-State Trailer Sales locations are full service dealerships, offering full service trailer sales, parts and repairs for all makes of trailers - from minor repairs to major rebuilding, including roof replacement, body and door repairs, and floor replacements for flatbeds and vans.  Tri-State also offers complete electrical and air system services as well.  Experienced factory and in-house trained technicians will perform your repairs so you can hit the road with the confidence that the job was done right the first time.  The Pittsburgh and Cincinnati locations are both ASME accredited for dry bulk and liquid tank repairs.

Tri-State Trailer Sales’ motto is: “We make business easy, guaranteed.”™, a fact that is illustrated by Tri-State consistently being recognized by manufacturers over the years for being among the Top 10 in equipment sales amongst the dealer network. At any given time, Tri-State maintains millions of dollars in inventory between their 4 dealerships.  Hundreds of new and used trailers are in stock at all times.  Tri-State stocks a wide range of trailers, including vans, reefers, specialized multi-axle extendables, aluminum and steel flatbeds and dropdecks, Landoll sliding axle trailers and liquid and dry bulk tankers.  

Tri-State offers several financing options through various lenders.  They also buy used trailers from individuals as well as mega fleets, auctions, and bankruptcies.  In the past month, Tri-State Trailer has acquired over 250 quality used trailers of various makes and models, give one of their sales professionals a call for details.
