Thomas Christafferson/DSI Bulk Transport

Thomas Christafferson from Ohio says, “It is fun to drive a Working Show Truck!” He enjoys getting thumbs up and honks as he works.

Tom runs a lot of regional and occasional long hauls, loaded with plastic pellets and powder in his Pneumatic tank.  The 2011 Peterbilt 389 is owned by DSI Bulk Transport of Mantua, Ohio.  The Pete is powered by a 550hp CAT, 18 speed transmission and a 3:55 ratio rear end. 

The truck has quite a history.  It started as a glider kit and spent may hard years in the oilfield industry before being purchased and completely restored in 2022 by DSI Transport.  The truck features a custom interior and has taken trophies at MATS and the DMF Truck Shows.
