Newest Flying J Travel Center Brings Convenience and Employment to Washington State
KNOXVILLE, TN… Known for “Fueling Life’s Journeys,” Pilot Company is growing its network of travel centers with the opening of its newest location in Tumwater, Washington this October. The Flying J Travel Center is conveniently located at exit 99 on I-5 and will provide more than 70 commercial truck parking spaces, a Taco Bell and a wide selection of road-ready snacks and gear.
The new Flying J Travel Center is a joint venture with the Chehalis Tribe and will add approximately 50 jobs to the local community.

To celebrate the grand opening, Pilot Company is donating $5,000 to benefit two of the areas school districts. The Oakville School District and the Rochester School District will each receive $2,500 as part of Pilot Company’s longstanding commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
Located at 2725 93rd Ave. SW, the Flying J Travel Center is over 12,000 square feet and offers several amenities, including:
