‘Long Haul Paul’ to Perform for the Professional Drivers and Carriers Donating their Time and Resources to Support Wreaths Across America

December 2021

COLUMBIA FALLS, ME…  As a way of saying thank you to the essential, professional truck drivers and carriers donating their time, equipment, and resources to haul veterans’ wreaths across the country for Wreaths Across America Day, Wreaths Across America is proud to announce a series of driver appreciation concerts to take place in the Columbia Falls truckers’ lounge.

This year, songwriter, and storyteller Long Haul Paul (Marhoefer) will be setting aside some time to perform free shows on December 10th, 11th, and 12th as drivers arrive in Maine to load up with truckloads of respect to be delivered to participating cemeteries across the country. Long Haul Paul is considered by many to be the Bob Dylan of trucking and has over 10,000 loyal followers on Facebook. He will also be joined by special guest cello virtuoso Michael Ronstadt (Linda Ronstadt’s nephew).

The concert series is made possible with the support of BullSnot! Products and RoadPro Family of Brands.

Wreaths Across America is the non-profit organization best known for placing wreaths on veteran’s headstones at Arlington National Cemetery. However, in 2020, the organization placed more than 1.7 million sponsored veterans’ wreaths at 2,557 participating locations nationwide. Throughout the calendar year you can tune in to Wreaths Across America Internet Radio, 24/7, to learn more about the mission and those who support it across the country, as well as the hundreds of local charitable efforts nationwide that are funded through wreath sponsorships.

For more information about volunteering for this year's loadout, visit wreathsacrossamerica.org.

You can sponsor a veteran’s wreath anytime for $15 at www.wreathacrossamerica.org. Each sponsorship goes toward a live, balsam wreath that will be placed on the headstone of an American hero as we endeavor to honor all veterans laid to rest at noon on Saturday, December 18, 2021, as part of National Wreaths across America Day.
