Anthony Squeglia/Squeglia Hauling

Robert Conrad
January 2020

Anthony Squeglia is from a trucking family and he basically grew up in his dad's Peterbilts. Riding with his dad definitely showed him the career path he wanted to take, and he bought his 2002 Peterbilt 379 when he was just 19.

Anthony had the truck refurbished by Angel Aldrich, the owner of Aldrich Auto Body & Towing. He has set the truck up to resemble his dad's Peterbilts that he so fondly remembers riding in as a youngster. Today he hauls contaminated soil with his polished Peterbilt and his 36' East Genesis tri-axle dump trailer, that never seems to look dirty. Anthony keeps both the truck and trailer shining brightly despite running all year long, in and out of various sites that often see his pride & joy having its rims half buried in mud.

Anthony takes a great deal of pride in always having that showroom shine and he credits his friend Matt Lombardo for helping him get the truck looking right! Power comes from a 550 CAT engine that's paired with an 18 speed transmission and a set of 3.90's on 46k rears.

Anthony is a familiar sight on the roads of MA and NH, and he takes a great deal of pride in always keeping his combo looking presentable and in top working order. He wanted to give special thanks to his parents for all of their love and support, especially his dad for giving him the "trucking fever". Anthony also wanted to thank the Lombardo family and John Nelson for their support (among many others).

Anthony operates Squeglia Hauling and this is one dirt hauler that may get dirty in the daytime, but it goes out shining the following morning!

Movin' Out salutes Anthony Squeglia for all of his hard work and dedication, by choosing him as our January 2020 Working Show Truck of the Month. Thanks, Anthony for helping us kick off 2020 in style!
