Some of our avid Movin' Out readers just might remember our feature on Angel Aldrich and his outstanding Peterbilt wrecker from quite a few years back.
Well it seemed only natural to do this follow up, a "Part 2" of sorts, since Angel and his crew have outdone themselves with their newest creation - this 2019 Peterbilt 389 rotator. The pride of the Aldrich Auto Body & Towing fleet, this pressed out Peterbilt was done in house at their Fitchburg, MA headquarters. Their signature "fade" paint sets this wrecker apart from any other, as the purple fades effortlessly into black with no visible breaks. The truck has enough clear coat on it, that you can see just about anything reflecting in the cab as it rolls by! The truck is a Pride & Class edition with Peterbilt's custom grille, emblems, and interior upgrades. It's equipped with a 565 Cummins engine that's paired up with an 18-speed transmission and a set of 46 rears.
Angel has equipped the truck with a 20k third steerable drop axle and a 20k wide front axle. Custom features include strapless, painted air cleaners, a custom bumper, and smoked out lights all around.
The wrecker body is a popular 40/50 sliding rotator, courtesy of NRC Industries out of Canada.
