Lewis Transfer, LLC /Jackie & Tammey Lewis

With a 312" wheelbase that's decked out from front to back and hooked to 53' of stainless & red that's tricked out to match, this combo owned by Jackie & Tammey Lewis is one of the coolest around! Jackie and Tammey operate Lewis Transfer, LLC based in Grayson, KY, and their stunning 2007 Peterbilt 379 and 2007 Great Dane reefer combo has some true "Southern Style"! Their son Jared is also an owner and has a Peterbilt of his own that's also a head turner.

Jackie's truck runs on 11/24.5 low profile rubber all around and he's added a number a custom features. The blind mounted custom front bumper is tapered and smooth and gets things started up front. The truck also has stainless battery boxes featuring custom step plates by RoadSkinz with the "Lewis" logo on them. In addition, Jackie has added a 7' Dynaflex exhaust system with the ever popular Pickett style elbows, and a set of Shift Products rear fenders with custom fender brackets. These brackets, along with the rear frame enclosures, and custom deck plate were all fabricated in house at Jackie's shop. He also took the steering wheel, grab bars, and gear shift knob and painted them a red metal flake that ties them in with the overall look of the truck.

You'd never guess by looking at it, but Jackie's polished Peterbilt is a real workhorse with over 1.4 million miles on it! This truck is no "garage queen" and it really hauls, thanks to the C-15 CAT engine that pushes out close to 1,200 HP - and that's when it not fully tuned up! The engine is paired with an 18 speed transmission and a set of 404 Eaton rears on a flex air suspension. Not to be outdone by the cab pulling it, Jackie's 2007 Great Dane 53' x 102" stainless steel reefer trailer has been equipped with custom light bars and a rear ICC bar with light panel as well. The framework and stainless on the trailer are all hand polished in the Lewis' shop as well, and it's complimented by the red light rails and reefer unit.

Jackie's theme could be called "less is more" and his combo has just the right amount of custom features that make it stand out in a crowd! If you happen to be in the Grayson, KY area or maybe lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the truck on the highway, you'll see why this is one combo that's hard to beat! Movin' Out would like to salute the entire Lewis team for their hard work and for representing the trucking industry with style & class across the miles.
