Forward Freight Systems – A Name, Not A Number

Burr Ridge, IL… Two Professional Truck Drivers in the Chicago Suburb of Burr Ridge, Illinois founded forward Freight Systems in March of 2014. Anthony Dubinsky and Tom Dirlevski had both been Owner-Operators for years. They used their savings to start Forward Freight Systems; purchasing one used truck and leasing one Owner-Operator. The company has since grown to 54 power units, a combination of about 60% Owner-Operator and 40% company trucks.

In their formative years, Anthony and Tom would have to buy used trucks for the fleet, but now they own late model Volvo, Kenworth, Peterbilt and Freightliner tractors. All units are 3 years old or newer. When they started their company, one partner would drive and the other worked in the office and then they would switch duties. Today, Forward Freight Systems employs a full support staff to help Forward Freight drivers succeed.

You can join Forward Freight Systems as a company driver or an Owner-Operator and pull a dry van or a flatbed. Owner-Operators are welcome with or without a trailer. Company drivers can earn $72,000 or more per year and contractors can earn $260,000 or more – a few have grossed over $300,000 last year. There is a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a $1,000 referral bonus.

Forward Freight Systems has freight originating in the Midwest, East and Southeast and running lanes east of I-35. There is flatbed freight to all 48 states. Consistent lanes are available as well as irregularly routed freight. Because of this, Forward Freight Systems can hire or lease drivers in most points East of the Mississippi.

Owner Anthony Dubinsky states, “We have a very low driver turnover because we take good care of our drivers and help them to succeed. That is why our pay is above the industry average for Professional Truck Drivers. If your goal is to own your own truck, we can help you. At Forward Freight Systems, if you are willing to work, you can make a very nice living. 2017 was a great year for Forward Freight Systems, with substantial growth in freight and revenues and we expect 2018 to be even better. In order to keep growing, however, we need to lease or hire additional drivers. With freight capacity high and truck capacity remaining low, we believe that freight rates will continue to climb in the next year.”
