Forgiveness Is Important To Each Of Us

There are various sins mentioned in the Bible. Some preachers refer to a very serious sin as being the unpardonable sin. They are referring to blaspheming against the Holy Ghost, which simply means saying the work of the Holy Ghost is the work of the devil.

That is dangerous for there is no forgiveness in this life nor in the life to come for that offense. God only has one sin that He speaks of in this particular.

However, the unpardonable sin so far as people are concerned can be many. Whatever you refuse to forgive other people for is an unpardonable sin as far as you are concerned.

Your unforgiveness does not hurt the other person, it only deepens the embitterment in your own heart. Be ye tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ’s sake, hath forgiven you.

Many a man and many a woman has missed God’s blessings by holding unto what they have and by not being willing to let go and let God have His way.

Many a person will wake up tomorrow morning and before he gets up, he will think of what’s wrong in the world and what will go wrong today, and he is defeated before his feet are on the floor.

The better thing to do is to wake up tomorrow and think of that which is right and place your hand in the nail-scarred hand, listen to the commission and commands of the Captain of our salvation and walk with Him.

If we walk with Him, we shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life. The sin question is settled at Calvary. The world is settled when a person has his heart filled with the Holy Spirit and he can go from victory to victory because He that is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
