​Congressman Frank LoBiondo (R-New Jersey) Visits Truck Dealerships

Pennsville, NJ… Federal Representative Frank LoBiondo toured two local truck dealerships, Hunter Peterbilt – Pennsville and Hunter Truck Sales & Service – Swedesboro, on Tuesday to discuss areas of concern for truck dealers.

While at the Hunter Truck Sales dealerships, Representative LoBiondo met with Hunter Management teams for a complete tour of the Sales, Parts, Leasing, and Service departments.

“We are happy to have had the opportunity to discuss several issues of concern for truck dealerships across the country,” Nancy Hunter Mycka, EVP of Public Relations said. “In particular, we were able to address FET (Federal Excise Tax) concerns, the EPA Phase 2 cost indications, oil and gas industry indications, as well as the current state of the used truck market.”

Representative LoBiondo also sat in a Peterbilt 579 and received an explanation of recent technology changes, as well as insight into why Heavy Truck OEM’s now have proprietary engines and the advantages and challenges that come with these engines.
