September of 2017 was the start of a new annual truck show and is definitely one you won’t want to miss this year. The 1st annual Tom "Uncle Bear" Safford Show and Shine truck show was held September 9th, 2017 in memory of Tom Safford. Tom was a longtime truck driver who sadly passed away due to cancer.

The show was hosted in Bainbridge New York at the General Clinton Park, The great location made you feel like you were going to a truck show in the country. Head turning rigs from all over started rolling in early morning through thick fog, which would eventually break off and turn into sunny skies. Trucks and spectators came from all over to enjoy a great day filled with big rides and bright skies to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The show had numerous things to see such as the large rides, live music from The Wild Ones, a 50/50 raffle, live auction, chicken bbq dinner, and games for the kids.

The First Annual Tom “Uncle Bear” Safford Show and Shine was a huge success as they were able to raise over $7,000 to donate to the American Cancer Society in memory of Uncle Tom Safford. Adam and the rest of the crew involved wanted to send a special thank you out to everyone who cam e and who helped to make this show a huge success.
