Truckers once again had it "Made in the Shade" at the fourth annual truck show held by the Butler County Fair in David City, NE.  It was another successful and growing year for the event with 36 rigs making the show.  Once again the show implemented more of a wash and park theme with the drivers doing the limited judging for the 4 categories.  Instead of an entry fee for the show the drivers gave a good will cash donation going to the Butler County Blue Valley Community Action program.  This year they raised $600 for the program.  This year saw an increase of vendor attendance including the Chome Shop Mafia Boyz, Lincoln Chrome, Peterbilt of Council Bluffs, Valley Chrome Plating, Lifetime Nutcovers, and Dynaflex Exhaust.  Peterbilt of Council Bluff brought an enclosed trailer equipped with tv's showing trucker movies like Smokey and the Bandit, Convoy and Over the Top for the attendees of the show.  They also donated hats and door prizes for all the participants.  Some of the other sponsors of the show include Rehmer Auto Parts, Greybill Tire and Repair, Rockwood Products, Thermo King of Omaha, Big Bennys Big Rigs,  Kobza Auction, Schulz Transfer, Inland Truck Parts, Cross-Dillon Tire, RanMar Transfer, Five Star Truck Wash, Angency One Insurance, Sahling Kenworth, Lincoln Truck Center as well as other area businesses.

This year the show organizers hired a band to play during the show.  The Bill & Terry Band with Lee on the Box entertained the attendees of the show.  With a few cold beverages, the band playing and the "Wash It, Park It, Relax" atmosphere of the show it was like one big party for everyone!  Next year's show is scheduled for July 21, 2012 at the Butler County Fair.

This year's winners include:

Best Paint-- Travis Buhr, 2000 Peterbilt 379
