Rmac Hobbies – Born From A Driver's Love Of Collector Trucks

By Pam Pollock

Roger Rommelfaenger of Sheboygan, Wisconsin has been a professional truck driver for 32 years and an owner-operator for 25 of those years.  He has been leased to Mercer Transportation for the past 9 years.  He has always been a collector of toy cars and trucks.  Roger started going to Classic Car Shows and swap meets 8 years ago, setting up a booth and selling 1/18 and 1/25 scale diecast cars.  Because of his time on the road, he would only be able to go to around 3 shows a year.

Roger and his son Chad realized that there was a market for selling collectible cars on the internet and began Rmac Hobbies (www.rmachobbies.com) in 2007.  Roger does the purchasing and Chad is in charge of the warehouse packing and shipping.  Business steadily rose and inventory was added to include model cars, tanks, boats, and ships.  While out on the road, Roger noticed that there were not many stores in the truck stops that sold collector diecast trucks, and the few places that did, didn't have a very large stock.  The Rommelfaengers realized that there was a real market for selling 1/32 and 1/43 scale semi trucks on their internet site and began stocking and selling trucks.

Rmac Hobbies has a large stock of 1/32 and 1/43 collector trucks, including the popular Chrome Shop Mafia edition trucks.  They offer very competitive pricing on all of their merchandise.  Roger has a vast network of suppliers and if don't see a particular item in stock on the website, contact him and he will do his best to find it for you.

Rmac Hobbies also sells Thomas The Tank HO scale engines, comic books and records.

Rmac Hobbies is always adding new inventory to their store and are happy to try and locate trucks for their customers.  They accept PayPal, Visa and MasterCard.  For more info phone 920-254-7024, 8 am – 6 pm, CST (Central Standard Time), email: rmac@rmachobbies.com or visit and shop online at www.rmachobbies.com.
