Jackie Tennant, 62, has been an owner operator for 35 years and accumulated some 4 million miles of road service.  For the last 15 years, she has been running a Kenworth W900 tractor with an Eaton RTLO 13-speed manual transmission that, she reports, recently surpassed two million miles of repair-free road service.

 "Amazingly, I've never had to tear it apart once," she says.  By way of comparison, during that same period, she's had her engine overhauled twice, replaced her brakes roughly 15 times, and changed her tires about 23 times. 

Jackie is leased to Intel Carriers, DeForest, Wis., and typically hauls refrigerated freight out of the Midwest to Texas and Florida.
