Who are the Arapovics?  Zoran and Sandra started with Amstan in January of 2007 as company leased team drivers in the Van Division.  In September of 2008 they became O/O's through the Amstan sub-lease program and did so well that they were able to save up their money and purchase their own truck in December of 2009.  Zoran and Sandra came to Amstan from Stevens Transport where they pulled Dry Vans and Reefer Units hauling general commodities, hazardous materials, and food products.

Zoran and Sandra began their driving career prior to working for Stevens Transport.  Zoran's cousin was obtaining his CDL and Zoran decided he wanted to drive a truck too.  Sandra told Zoran "Oh no you're not going to drive a truck– not unless I can too!"  So they both went to truck driving school and obtained their CDLs and have been driving ever since.

They have been married for 6 years and love to travel and explore the U.S. Their favorite places to visit are Hawaii, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.  They also like to travel to Florida, Tennessee and Louisiana to visit their parents and other family members.  In their spare time they like to spend time with their nephew, Andrej who is three years old. They enjoy spoiling him as much as possible!

Zoran and Sandra offered the following advice to other drivers on keeping it safe on the road "Slow down and always keeps a six second following distance to allow enough time to stop safely and properly react. Not only does it save lives by avoiding an accident but also saves fuel." They went on to say, "Always be aware of your surroundings, the flow of traffic and what is going on around you – you never know what can happen next."

We asked the Arapovics what they like about Amstan and they said that everyone treats them like family and that we always get them home when they need to. They said that the sub-lease program was a great opportunity for them. It allowed them to help other family members in need, travel and save up enough money to purchase their own truck.
