PELHAM, AL… Randall Davis has recently joined Express-1’s newly opened facility located just minutes off I-65 Exit 246 in Pelham, Alabama. The new Express-1 terminal will give the company a presence in the Southeast; it will serve several area manufacturing companies and will allow for expanded load opportunities as well.  Acting as a full service center for drivers and contractors the new site will create a point for pickup or drop off paperwork, while allowing drivers to grab a break while on the road or to just stop in for some much needed face time with Express-1 staff. Conveniently located near I-65 the new terminal offers ample truck parking and is next to a convenient truck stop as well.

Serving as Driver Relations Coordinator for the Pelham terminal, Randall Davis will be in charge of hosting Orientation classes, conducting onsite recruiting, and providing the support drivers and contractors need to be successful at Express-1.  Randall enjoys working with people and takes personal satisfaction in matching the right driver with the right job, a much needed trait in any successful recruiter. Believing that everyone has something to share in life, he enjoys learning about each person’s passions and concerns, while taking great pride in being able to help drivers thrive in the Expedited Trucking business. 

Randall’s background allows him to have unique perspective of the trucking industry.  He is an Air Force Veteran; has also spent 2 years driving over-the-road as a flatbed driver and has nearly 10 years of recruiting experience. Express-1’s low industry driver turnover rate of only 42% is one of many reasons why Randall chose to call Express-1 home.
Express-1 is an expedited carrier based in Buchanan, Michigan, specializing in truckload and LTL freight for class 8 tractors, straight trucks, sprinters and cargo vans. The company has solo and team opportunities available for both CDL and non-CDL holders.
