WESTAMPTON, NJ…  New Century Transportation is pleased to announce the company is now leasing a limited number of owner-operators.  Senior Director of Human Resources Pat Morozin states, “New Century will have opportunities for a number of independent contractors with great earning potential.  We are looking for contractors in select areas in the following states: New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and California.

New Century Transportation is a Westampton, New Jersey based irregular route 48-state carrier.  The company operates dry vans and temperature controlled vans, hauling Truckload, Load-To-Delivery LTL and Time Definite freight. 
New Century is the next generation of Motor Cargo Transportation.  The company is a hybrid of premium LTL and truckload services.  Their 21st Century operating model blends accelerated pick-up and delivery services into and out of the Northeast corridor of the U.S. to all points in the contiguous 48 states and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec.  New Century also provides exemplary truckload and select LTL service back to the Northeast, providing round trip loading for independent contractors and teams.

Mr. Gilbert is the former President of Roadway Express and brings over 30 years of operational and sales experience to New Century.  He succeeded Harry Muhlschlegel as CEO of New Century in January 2012.  Mr. Muhlschlegel retired earlier this year but remains Chairman of the Board for the company.

Independent Contractors interested in leasing to New Century Transportation need to only provide a power unit.  HazMat endorsements are required and tanker endorsements are preferred.  Teams are also welcome.
