The Circuit Rider: Three Lessons For Your Life: Grace, Mercy And Peace
It seems that “three” is a powerful number and it is used on many occasions but the greatest three I think are Grace, Mercy and Peace.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves but it is the gift of God.”
The man who has been saved by grace will live a graceful life.
This is true because his life is in harmony with Jesus Christ.
The second in this trio is mercy.
We must have God’s mercy.
No man is just in God’s sight but God’s mercy extended to us can give eternal life and make us the kind of people we should be.
And finally we have peace.
Peace with God that passes understanding.
There is a strange thought in the world and it is an erroneous thought. Some people believe when a man is right with God; he has peace with God, with himself and with all the world.
But that isn’t so.
His soul’s enemy is the world, the flesh and the devil.
If you have peace with God, you are going to be at war with the world, the flesh and the devil.
