AMBEST Honors Chuck Bosselman With Lifetime Achievement Award

Nashville, TN. On September 11, 2012, the AMBEST Board of Directors presented the company’s first ever Lifetime Achievement Award honoring the late Chuck Bosselman in a ceremony held at the AMBEST 24th Annual Meeting in Nashville. Mr. Bosselman’s family was present to receive the award on his behalf.
Board Chairman, Mark Sykes, cited Mr. Bosselman’s inspirational passion and relentless determination to advance the mission of AMBEST. He also expressed heartfelt appreciation for Mr. Bosselman’s innovative contributions to AMBEST and the truck stop industry. Steve Allen, President of AMBEST, said of Mr. Bosselman, “He was long in vision, deep in character and wide in his sphere of influence.”
Chuck Bosselman served as the AMBEST Chairman of the Board from 1994 – 1995 and contributed to the success of AMBEST from its inception in 1988. His extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit made him a leader in the truck-stop industry for more than 45 years.
