CARLINVILLE, IL… In the past twenty years truck shows have become incredibly popular. What once was a handful of shows over the summer has turned into events of all sizes across the country and Canada. Truck shows now typically start in March and run through November or December.
In 2008 Gwillim Trucking, Inc. brothers Mickey and Scott hosted a new show, The World of Large Cars in Carlinville, Illinois. The World of Large Cars was an instant hit with the drivers. The show has casual flair with food, music and fun for all.
The 2011 World of Large Cars Truck Show was held on July 22-24 and featured plenty of beautiful big rigs, a dj and live entertainment and Rollin’ Transport’s Poker Run.
This year’s event is scheduled for July 20-21 and promises to be just as spectacular as previous shows. For more info contact Mickey at 217-415-3904 or email: gwillimtrucking359@yahoo.com.
