FALCONER, NY… Harvey and Karen Zander’s 2003 International Model 9001x was named the 2011 NAST Truck-Lite Trophy winner during a recent awards ceremony held in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY and was awarded a $5,000 check and trophy.  The Truck-Lite Trophy and cash prizes were presented by Tim Walker, Truck-Lite Executive Vice President of Sales, Europe and Asia, as well as Don Miesen, Jr., NAST Interim Executive Director.

Located in St. Louis Park, MN, this veteran driving team’s 40+ years of over-the-road experience, industry knowledge and strong work ethic was clearly displayed in the form of their bobtail, Icy Blu 2.  The couple’s rig exhibits a pleasant winter theme complimented with 322 Truck-Lite LED lighting products.

Second place went to Jeremy Trout, Tecumseh, MI and his 2007 Kenworth W900 and 2007 Trailmobile Trailer.  This combo, also known as the Truck of Honor, is engulfed with powerful graphics that pay honor to our past and present service men and women.  Truck-Lite awarded Jeremy with a runner-up trophy and $2,500 check.  Trout has grown up within the trucking industry, working for the family owned business, Bogies Express.
