Award-Winning “Land Line Now” Radio Show Celebrates 7 Years On The Air
Grain Valley, MO… “Land Line Now,” the first daily news and information program designed specifically for America’s truck drivers, celebrates 7 years on air today. “Land Line Now,” which has won more than 75 broadcasting and trucking news awards, is heard on Sirius XM 106 and is produced by the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association.
Mark Reddig, show host, said the show has evolved and grown over the past several years but has remained true to one principle, to provide what is relevant to trucking audiences.
“We get feedback every day from our listeners who let us know what they want to hear more about and what is helpful to their lives and livelihoods,” said Reddig. “They literally drive the show.”
As the most award-winning show of all trucking radio, “Land Line Now” has been recognized with 10 “best of” awards, 20 gold awards, 19 silver awards and various others from trade and broadcast associations such as the International Automotive Media Awards, Truck Writers of North America, and the Heart of America Press Club. The hour-long program is heard nightly at 7 p.m. eastern during the week and again at 11 p.m. It is put together daily by a team of veteran journalists and broadcasters along with a range of guests who provide relevant expertise in trucking business and regulations.
