HUBBARD, OH…  As drilling companies gear up to service the Marcellus and Utica Shale gas fields, it has created an acute need for drivers and equipment.  Many drivers have left over-the-road jobs to operate the trucks necessary to get drilling equipment to job sites, as well as hauling water and sand used in the fracking process.  There is a wide variety of trucks needed to serve all aspects of the operation:  roads need to be built, heavy equipment to be hauled, along with large quantities of water and sand to be taken to and from the job drilling sites.  Nearly all truck dealers located within a reasonable distance are stocking specialized trucks to serve the drilling operations.
