The Circuit Rider: Where Are You Going? You Could Try The Top
Where are you going is a question we hear asked everyday. The interesting thing is the reply some people give. Some say, “I’m going on.” That means they are determined to reach a destination. Others say, “I’m going up.”
If you are not satisfied where you are and you feel a little bit crowded, simply go to the top for there’s plenty of room at the top! Others talk of going down, which means they are declining, sometimes in health, sometimes in position, sometimes in ability.
The one that fascinates me most is when I hear people say, “I’m going round and round.” Well, when you meet these people who tell you they are going round and round, most like what you will find out is that they are in the center. Self-centeredness is something that is confusing. It is also beguiling and it deceives.
The sincere Christian denies himself. His thrust is not for what he can get out of life nearly so much as what he can put into life. If you’ll get out of the center and put Christ in the center, He will lead you out of your darkness.
