Manac Offers Lightweight Logger Trailer

NATRONA HEIGHTS, PA…
Manac is pleased to announce the introduction of a new lighter weight logger trailer. This new lightweight logger uses high tensile, high strength steel to provide superior strength to weight ratio. It is the only logger to offer a hot dipped coated galvanized option, which is standard on all the bunks and optional on the main beams.
The 102” x 96” bunks are bolted on so they can be relocated replaced or additional bunks added. The single piece bunks are made of 100,000-psi steel for superior strength and hot dipped zinc coated to eliminate corrosion. The deep 21” main beams are also made of 1000,000-psi steel flange material. The logger also features Manac’s exclusive plug-welded coupler plate, offering optimal contact with the frame. Manac’s “W” bracing helps to evenly distribute the load and a retractable landing gear provides more ground clearance. The features include a heavy-duty 40,000 lb. capacity coupler with an integrated toolbox built over it. The variable thickness web (3/16” plus 1/4” in the gooseneck) provides extra strength in critical areas. A heavy duty rear bumper bar and log bumper are also provided as standard equipment. All loggers feature LED lights with custom sealed wire harnesses and a bold-on light bar with LED lights.
Manac’s logger is available in tandem and tri-axle configurations and is only 8,700 lbs. gross weight. Optional equipment includes a galvanized frame, headboard, bolt-on kingpin and lift bumper bar. The trailer can be spec’d with air ride, leaf spring or single point spring suspension.
Manac has been building log trailers for 48 years and is the North American leader with 25% of the logger trailer market. For more additional information, visit www.manac.us or call 877-466-2622.
